美國勞工部周四 (30日) 公布，5 月 25 日結束當周，美國首次申請失業救濟金的人數增長 1 萬人，乃至 35.4 萬人，增幅超乎預期。

美國勞工部周四 (30日) 公布，5 月 25 日結束當周，美國首次申請失業救濟金的人數增長 1 萬人，乃至 35.4 萬人，增幅超乎預期。

《MarketWatch》經濟學家原本預期，經季節調整後，當周失業申請數應為 34.5 萬人，再前一周的數據經修正過則增長 4000 人，至 34.4 萬人。

同時 4 周平均新申請人數，增長 6750 乃至 347,250 人，是一個月來新高紀錄。此一均值走勢，因不像周線數字那般起伏，市場將其視為更加準確的就業數據。

4 周平均值和今 (2013) 年前 4 個月相比，已是有所下降，今年前 4 個月均值為 35.2 萬人，去年則平均達 37.5 萬人。

經濟學家們表示，初次失業申請的數量，依然與經濟溫和成長腳步關係緊密。
