美弱勢學童 歡喜看「少年PI」

中華民國駐休士頓辦事處邀請休士頓地區貧苦與低收入戶小朋友，觀賞李安獲奧斯卡導演獎的力作「少年PI的奇幻漂流」，約百餘名低收入家庭學童、教師等出席。

電影欣賞會前，駐休士頓辦事處處長夏季昌及「休士頓國際影展」主席陶德（Hunter Todd）致詞，說明台灣之光李安執導的這部影片，榮獲本屆奧斯卡金像獎最佳攝影、最佳視覺效果、最佳原創配樂及最佳導演等4項大獎。

駐休士頓辦事處另預定8月29日舉辦台灣本土紀錄片「不老騎士-歐兜邁環台日記」放映會及座談會，屆時不老騎士張弘道夫婦等將與休士頓地區老人社團、主流及僑界人士交換意見。
