　　美商藝電今日針對《模擬城市》首部資料片《未來之城（原譯：明日城市）》，釋出由遊戲首席設計師 Stone Librande 帶領玩家了解的新資料片遊戲玩法介紹影片。
　　《模擬城市》新資料片將帶領玩家進入未來的 50 年「明日城市」，玩家將可以使用新的科技，以實驗性的城市規劃技術來雕塑個人城市的未來。新資料片會有新的區域、新的科技、新的運輸方式等，並帶來《模擬城市》系列首度的垂直建造玩法，讓玩家可以建造內含多樣化功能的摩天大樓。
