不肖女兒放火燒母親　公共危險罪起訴

【吳珮如／台北報導】台北市49歲羅姓女子今年10月4日酒後情緒失控，頻敲母親房門，見母親不願開門，竟揚言：「妳不出來，我就點火燒死妳。」隨即用打火機點燃地上毛毯，母親出不去打電話給隔壁房的兒子求救，兒子趕緊潑水撲滅火勢並報警。士林地檢署今依公共危險罪將羅女起訴。
 
檢方查出，羅母聽到女兒放話要燒死她，嚇得不敢開門，但沒多久就聞到煙味，於是趕緊求救，兒子見母親房門前毛毯起火，立即澆水熄火，所幸沒有人員傷亡。檢方認定羅女涉犯恐嚇及燒燬他人物品罪，最重可處7年以下有期徒刑。
