兄弟象先發投手增菘瑋，面對統一獅只投了2.2局就失4分退場，不過，打線適時掌握得分機會，加上牛棚守成，最終象隊就以5比4贏球，收下3連勝，獅隊則吞下3連敗。
「菘瑋狀況沒有不好，只是球沒進好球帶，都是先投出壞球。」總教練謝長亨表示。
2局上，增菘瑋遭遇亂流，保送張泰山後，接連被郭俊佑、鄧志偉敲出安打，無人出局滿壘時，面對黃恩賜投出單局第2個四壞保送，讓統一獅兵不血刃，取得1比0領先。
獅隊攻勢還沒結束，高志綱、陳鏞基、林志祥安打串聯，幫助球隊領先來到4比0。
2局下，兄弟象展開反攻，率先上場的彭政閔敲出二壘長打，隨後利用對手捕逸前進到三壘，再利用陳江和的推進跑回象隊第1分，黃仕豪的安打，幫助象隊追到2比4。
來到3局下，象隊攻勢再起，郭健瑜、彭政閔在一出局後紛紛敲安，攻占得點圈，隨後上場的周思齊雖然遭到刺殺，但仍有推進效果，將比數拉近到3比4。 (接下一頁)
