寶山童讚作文營 「希望多開班」

「度過一個不無聊的暑假！」啟德機械起重工程股份有限公司、寶山鄉公所與聯合報系合作，在雙溪國小開辦「暑期公益寫作營」，35名學童日前在營隊結束後，合寫卡片送給鄉長范玉燕「希望能再多開班！」

「讓我的作文能比同年級更進步！」參加作文營的學生在卡片上寫著，范玉燕收到直說「很感動」，指電腦科技發達，多數人自小碰觸電腦，但孩子們寫的卡片字跡端正、語句流順，她感到很欣慰。

啟德機械起重工程公司總經理胡漢龑，得知公益寫作營計畫，立即允諾贊助為期5天的營隊，參加寫作營的學生暄雅說，參加寫作營「讓暑假多了一分期待的事物」，學生姮安說「受益良多」、「體驗到寫作的樂趣」。

范玉燕說，從卡片中發現，學生遣詞用字能力有進步，甚至有學生寫出「能精湛自己的寫作能力」，她也將在周五，受雙溪國小校長鄭陳宏邀請，到學校為孩子們說故事，以繪本「文字工廠」為題材，推廣閱讀風氣。

「圖書館書多又新！」范玉燕說，寶山鄉圖書館收藏4萬多本書，一年借閱次數約6萬次，而寶山鄉人口為12000餘人，等同寶山鄉民平均一年到圖書館借書5到6次，推廣閱讀小有成效。
