失望的2013年球季，Rory McIlroy再次強調跟更換球具毫無關係，至於他跟Caroline Wozniacki之間的關係，他則是三緘其口不願正面回應。

小麥本週來到首爾參加南韓公開賽，賽前的記者會上，大家當然是追問他跟Caroline Wozniacki是否真的已經分手。

「我想還是讓我的私生活保持私密。」這名來自北愛爾蘭的前世界球王，在分手的消息傳出之後，頭一次回答這個問題。

Rory McIlroy與Caroline Wozniacki交往兩年，過去總是非常大方地表現出他們的關係，也經常到球場表達對彼此的支持，去年小麥在球場上的成就達到頂峰，不過今年球季直線滑落，曾經世界排名第一的Caroline Wozniacki，目前也已掉到第九。

不願多談他跟(前?)女友之間的事情，但是對於他跟新球具廠商的關係，Rory McIlroy卻是全力維護，大家猜測他今年的成績大幅退步，一定跟更換球具有關係，但小麥再次強調：沒有這回事。

去年小麥在大西洋兩岸都奪下獎金王，世界排名衝上第一，之後就跟知名的運動廠商簽下10年2億5千萬美元的球具合約，從那之後，Rory McIlroy一整個球季沒有拿下任何一場勝利，所有重要的比賽，他的表現都很難看。

「在球技方面，我的揮桿陷入了一兩個不好的固癖，正在試著改正，當然這也影響了我的心理。」

「高爾夫是一種信心的運動，如果信心夠的話，一定會打得更好，心態上也會更自由。」

「跟球具當然一點關係也沒有。」
