日前相鳩山就侵華行為道歉

【大紀元11月13日報導】（中央社記者張謙香港13日電）日本前首相鳩山由紀夫今天獲得香港城市大學頒授榮譽博士，他在致詞中以平民身分就日軍的侵華暴行道歉。

根據香港無線電視台播放的片段，鳩山以英語發言，先後兩次表達道歉。

他說：「作為一位平民，我感到有責任去道歉，即使只有一位中國平民被日軍殘酷殺害，這種行為不能以在戰時發生為藉口。」

在鳩山發表上述談話後，場下響起一片掌聲，中斷了鳩山的致詞。

他接著指出，曾到南京大屠殺紀念館親身面對眾多歷史事實，從照片看到日軍在城內殺害無辜平民，也讀到日本媒體當時如何讚揚暴行。

他說：「（這些暴行）即使國家處於戰時也是不可接受的。」

鳩山表示，「所以，作為日本平民，我想再次表達歉意。」
