（中央社法蘭克福13日綜合外電報導）歐洲航空安全署（EASA）今天表示，將允許乘客在飛機上使用行動電子裝置，只剩相當少的限制。

美國聯邦航空總署（FAA）2週前表示，將鬆綁相關規定。法新社報導，歐洲航空安全署也將跟進，表示在不久的將來，在飛機上將能使用平板電腦、智慧手機、電子書和mp3等個人電子裝置。

不過航空安全署在聲明中指出，這些裝置僅能在啟動「飛行模式」時使用。此一模式切斷行動通訊服務，因此乘客依舊無法在機上撥打電話。

航空安全署現有準則允許乘客在飛機上使用個人電子裝置，但飛機滑行、起飛、降落時例外。

航空安全署將在「11月底前」公布新準則，所有改變將適用歐洲航空公司的飛機。

航空安全署執行主任表示：「在擴大機上使用個人電子裝置自由而不損害安全的過程中，這是重大一步。」
