台灣漁船若越界　菲律賓：仍將扣船、逮捕

菲律賓與台灣上周召開漁業諮商預備會議，就多項漁務議題達成初步共識。不過菲律賓方面仍稱，如果有台灣漁船越界捕魚，同樣會予以逮捕、扣船，並處以至少5萬美元（約150萬台幣）的罰款。

根據中央社報導，馬尼拉經濟文化辦事處理事主席裴瑞茲17日表示，菲、台雙方已於14日召開漁業諮商預備會議，希望避免台灣漁船「廣大興28號」事件重演，但是菲律賓方面仍將逮捕及扣留越界捕魚的台灣漁船。

裴瑞茲表示，如果進入司法程序且漁民敗訴，將需支付10萬至20萬美元的罰款，才能換取人船獲釋。如果台灣漁船上載有非法物品，例如毒品或保育類動物，更將面臨其它罪名的控告。

他強調，如果台灣漁船使用武力拒捕，菲律賓也將以武力執法。
