【石明啟／桃園報導】桃園在地聯盟等團體，反對立委陳根德提案修正「國際機場園區發展條例」，增訂「園區經行政院核定境內關外設置管制區域內，進行觀光博奕活動之特別區」等條文，抗議民眾今天上午到陳根德桃園服務處遞交抗議文，民眾認為在航空城設置賭場，不但違背桃園航空城的初衷與計畫，引進賭場大怪獸，日後政府將負擔更高的成本，一行人除下戰帖要求辯論外，也希望陳根德撤案。

到場抗議的台灣種子文化協會秘書長張零袗說，賭場可造成自殺、破產、家庭等問題，根據國外經驗，設置賭場衍生的社會成本，遠大於國家稅收，呼籲政府重視外，也要求陳根德撤案在航空城內設置賭場。陳根德特助李程朗指出，該提案並未排入委員會審查，在地聯盟等團體的意見，將反映給陳根德委員。
