旅客抵美 通關時間恐變長

（中央社記者顏伶如波特蘭2013年9月30日專電）美國預算案午夜期限未能過關，聯邦政府部份機構1日將關門。對即將抵達美國的外國遊客來說，美國海關仍將運作，但由於人手減少，通關時間可能延長。

對於1日即將抵達美國並準備辦理入關的外國遊客來說，美國機場將照常運作，航班也會正常起降，但遊客必須有通關時間延長的心理準備。

美國海關與邊境保護局派駐各地機場海關的官員，1日仍會留在工作崗位，但由於人手減少，旅客通關時間可能較平日更久。

至於聯邦政府機構關門，對於在邊境提出各種手續申請的作業將造成何種程度影響？美國海關與邊境保護局表示，目前難以評估。

美國運輸安全局發言人范士丹（Ross Feinstein）透過推特宣布，旅客在機場內的安檢過程應該不會受到太多耽擱，因為負責乘客與行李檢查的美國運輸安全局絕大多數安檢人員都會照常上班。
