【陳雍仁╱綜合報導】火箭季前訓練營開訓第2天，球隊開始進行實戰演練，台裔之星林書豪昨接受《休士頓紀事報》訪問時表示，球隊維持上季的跑轟球風，且滿意球隊目前表現。
林書豪說：「我們打了5對5分組對抗賽，有很多攻守轉換，我們不斷跑動，我想我們一些球員也很喜歡跑起來打，所以希望這會變得自然，我想這球風將會延續。」
火箭在今年季前也補進了幾名速度快的球員，讓整體攻勢變得更多元，林書豪說：「我覺得目前在進攻端，我們擁有更多不一樣的選擇，能夠看到每個人逐漸融入團隊，這真的很酷，我們在一起努力練習並從中找到樂趣。」
林書豪說：「我們進行擋切戰術後，你可以發現防守方有點不知所措，因為和霍華(Dwight Howard)打擋切後，還有像帕森斯(Chandler Parsons)這樣的射手埋伏底線，你必須做出防守抉擇，除此之外，我或哈登(James Harden)也會適時發揮。」
