斯里蘭卡外勞　最快明年引進

【陳嘉恩／台北報導】國內外勞人數已近47萬人，但業界仍常反映缺乏產業外勞和看護工。勞委會今證實已和斯里蘭卡進行官方對官方接觸，確認雙方有勞務合作意願，若後續設代表處、簽證、檢疫、專業訓練、勞動保障等技術問題能達成共識，最快明年就會引進斯里蘭卡勞工來台。

勞委會統計，截至8月底我國有46.9萬名藍領外勞，其中印尼20.5萬人最多，其次是越南11.6萬人、菲律賓8.5萬人、泰國6.2萬人。我國自2004年與蒙古洽談引進外勞以來，就未再有新外勞來源國。勞委會近日鎖定希望洽談引進緬甸和斯里蘭卡勞工，官員說緬甸還有外交問題須克服，但與斯里蘭卡雙方已有官方接觸且雙方確認有合作意願，是近年來最大進展。

勞委會指出，斯里蘭卡人口約2100萬人，有180萬人在海外工作，屬英語系國家，產業外勞和社福外勞都有輸出可能。
