【黃彥傑／台北報導】營救遭擄的張安薇而聲名大噪的余靖，今天上午7時許，由張安薇的哥哥張大公，陪同至廣播電台接受訪問，主持人周玉蔻見救援英雄上節目，大發嗲聲追問救援行動，但是余靖低調不說細節，只說為了出書回台宣傳，本來打算只在台停留3天，因與母親馬莉君聊天，得知母親與張安薇為熟識，才答應母親幫張家提供意見。

余靖說，深知菲國警方與綁架集團有掛勾，在救援過中遭受各種阻饒，曾一度非常氣憤，所以透過各種管道組成傭兵集團，在張安薇尚未被轉賣至另一個較龐大恐怖組織之前，順利將人質救出。對於菲國與馬國警方在新聞中說，合力將張安薇順利救出，余靖表示，這都是「一派胡言！」
