【曾雪蒨／台中報導】在網路上串聯發起的「１１９反禁摩令機車大遊行」活動，今天下午在台中市政府前集結遞交市府陳情書後出發，近三千名機車騎士參與，騎士們高喊「反禁摩，護路權」後從市政府旁沿惠中路、台灣大道遊行，幾乎癱瘓原本就交正在進行BRT工程的台灣大道。
 
「１１９反禁摩令機車大遊行」發起人、中華民國機車黨發起人董建一指出，台中市以推動低碳政策為名設立的「低碳城市自治條例」，規定２０２１年起禁止摩托車在特定區域行駛機車的法令，已經明顯違反憲法保障人民「平等權」，是條歧視機車騎士的法條，他還說台中市汽車與公車汙染機車更嚴重，他要求台中市議會必須在2014法規會審查時禁止該禁摩令，回歸機車騎士行的自由。
 
低碳辦公室執行長黃崇典代表市府接下陳情書，表示虛心接受，但強調該法案是市議會通過法案，是否廢止仍須經過市議會通過。
